Former AG Denise George’s Allegations Against Gov. Bryan, Others Surface in Latest DOJ Epstein Release
Newly released USDOJ records include an FBI interview in which former VI AG Denise George describes alleged political pressure, Epstein-related decisions, estate negotiations, and claims by a confidential informant regarding campaign-related donations.

https://viconsortium.com/vi-federal/virgin-islands-former-ag-denise-george-s-allegations-against-gov--bryan--others-surface-in-latest-doj-epstein-release

A DOJ spokesperson initially said the three million documents released were from the six million they evaluated for release. Within hours, it was said there were 200,000 still unreleased. Even those who do not find match fascinating can recognize that the difference between three million and 200,000 unreleased documents is the exact number of lies the DOJ is currently telling the American public.

In conversations with friends and associates yesterday, the issue of what is important in the released Epstein Pedo Files kept coming up. In any investigation, there is a difference between “raw” information and documented evidence. This is true for your local police and prosecutor investigating and prosecuting a crime, to the intelligence agencies of the countries that Epstein served. Thus, while the texts between Steve Bannon and Epstein making fun of the felon may be entertaining, the only thing they document is that even two fucking creeps viewed him as an ass clown.

In almost every investigation, it is important to recognize that it includes interviews with a variety of people who may or may not be relied upon to tell what they are convinced is the truth. Obviously, jailhouse snitches are usually only focused on their own potential benefits. Co-conspirators always have reasons to lie. Witnesses against a thug may include other criminals who are less than attractive individuals.

When interviewing potential victims, it is essential to be respectful. Creeps like Epstein target vulnerable individuals, and they carry scars. The emotional damage Epstein & Fiends inflicted on girls remains intense. At the same time, serious investigation sometimes draw people who make fantastic claims, like moths to a flame. They may honestly believe what they are saying is true, or they may be trying to discredit an investigation, as we saw recently.

The interview with Denise George is solid evidence of how expansive the criminal network that Epstein operated in actually was. The article I linked documents that as the Attorney General of the Virgin Islands, she filed a serious case that exposed wide-spread corruption linked with Epstein's operations there. The governor was “extremely mad,” and called her to yell about “going after people who are members of our team.” Of course she was fired immediately after she filed her case.

Wouldn't it be nice if our “team” continued to pressure the DOJ to release the documentation from Denis George's investigation, including the actual indictment she filed? And how about the files of the Miami Beach police? They were prepared to charge and convict at very least Epstein. They were furious when the DOJ took over the case, and gave Epstein and apparently twenty others besides Maxwell sweetheart deals? Deals that another court overturned, before going after Epstein and Maxwell?

It's almost like the other team can't be trusted.

Another Day

&list=PL6EA057F2A714493A&index=13

Thanks, Neil. Now, before today's announcements, rather than asking you to stand during the Star Strangled Banner, please raise a fist for Psalm 109:8 ….

“May his days be few; may another take his place of leadeship.”

This is an ugly, brutal time in our country. We all could list a number of horrible things that the felon & co are unleashing in their attack on the Constitution and human decency. We are in the lines of Yeats' famous poem, where things are falling apart, as the center cannot hold, unleashing anarchy upon society.

When the outside world is spinning out of control, a Clan Mother once told me, go inside of yourself. That doesn't mean be afraid and totally withdraw. It means to take the time to be centered, to find balance. For it is when we are centered and balanced that we can put forth our best efforts to calm the outside storm.

When Jack Smith recently testified to the congressional committee, he quoted one of the felon's threats to his enemies: “If you come after me, I'll come after you.” No need to read between the lines. If he thinks an individual poses a problem, the felon will try to damage and destroy them. I've seen that, you've seen that. And what we are seeing now is the felon recognizing the country is turning against him, thus his attempt to damage and destroy the country.

An injured beast is a dangerous beast. I can say with 100% certainty that a hurt boxer is at their most dangerous. I had to be really careful in knocking them out if they were hurt and conscious. I needed to be centered, balanced, and absolutely calm to safely inflict the damage required to end the fight. So believe me when I say that at this time, we need to be centered, balanced, and kind of calm now, so that we can limit injury as we devastate our opposition.

We should be exercising our Amendment 1 rights. Call, write, and/or e-mail every elected representative from your state in DC. Attend rallies and public protests. Be centered, so that the emotional realities of the maga cult can not push or pull you off balance. Be both brave, and fully aware of your surroundings, including the others on the scene.

Stay informed, by way of the “news,” however you access it. Take care not to overload on it, though. I have a couple associates who, due to the very cold weather, have been staying inside for weeks, rarely leaving their homes. They have come to recognize that a bad news overload takes a toll. I recommend getting together in small groups and doing things like contacting representatives and making posters for rallies. Listen to music like Neil or Bruce or the Beatles.

We are in a tough battle. Despite the felon and his administration's constant attempts to up the ante with shrill threats and gross violence, we are actually in the best position we have been in since the felon again took office. This is the result of dedicated work by a large number of people, from the grass roots to offices in the House and Senate.

I will end with a question. Does anyone know if the new documentary on the first lady is what Alex was forced to watch – eyes taped open – in “A Clockwork Orange”?

Mid-Winter

An old friend from the Binghamton area, tired from shoveling, asked me if my driveway was in “snowed-in” condition? Surely it is, with the driveway following the pattern of seeming longer in the winter. Plus I am where I want to be, and there is no where else I need to be.

Instead I only venture out to re-fill the bird-feeder, which is the ground on the other side of the driveway. There are plenty of birds out there that I watch from a window inside. A group of eight deer also stop in more frequently for a bite in this weather.

I think of the families that lived here long ago, before electricity. Likely they were gathered around the fire places and wood stoves after doing outdoor chores, or busy preparing meals. The ancient human tradition of sitting around the fire at night, going back tens of thousands of years. As “the Preacher” taught, “The thing that has been, it is what shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1: 9)

More, I think of the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy. Chief Waterman taught me the names that actually match up with the general divisions in NYS archaeology that traditional Iroquois use: the ancestor, the ancestor's ancestor, and the ancient ones. While I have no idea when the Midwinter Ceremony was first practiced, it is very old.

When the new moon appeared, either in late January or early February our time, it marked the spiritual new year's beginning. For five days, one focuses on family and clan, and the needs of the very young and very old in the upcoming year. Then came nine days of fun and feasting, and numerous traditional ceremonies.

There are two ancient dances that are performed. The bear dance is for those in poor health. (It is interesting to note that archaeological, oral history, and contact-era written accounts tell of bear cubs being raised in Iroquois communities.) Bear dances were largely private events. The feather dance is an upbeat community event to ring in the new year.

There were games to play, too. One of I'm thinking of is the peach game, with peach pits ground smooth. One side is darkened, one left light. Paul said it recognizes the struggle the Creator and his evil brother engaged in when the Creator brought humans forth on earth. The ideas involve getting one's self closer thanking the Creator for all good things, and away from being influenced by the evil brother.

There is no new thing under the sun.

Squeal

Malcolm X said that he could most accurately measure how good of a job he was doing, based on how loud his enemies would squeal. I kept this in mind as I watched Jack Smith testify today.

We heard the squeals of the republicans on the committee in five minute spasms. They came in sermons of organized lying, for these people have no shame. They are failing human beings. They fear the felon more than the consequences of telling the truth. They have betrayed the oath of office to uphold the Constitution.

The head of this flock of ass clowns is Jim Jordan, who has mastered the art of being the smarmiest congressman since Newt as he spreads lies. The republicans were not able to find a single thing that Mr. Smith that did not follow policy and law. However, there was a moment of humor when it was documented how frightened Jordan was on January 6. Surely, these people play on the junior varsity level of the maga debating team.

Their champion of squelen is, of course, is supposed to be in the Oval Office, promoting well-being in this country. Perhaps, in a sense, he was unaware his first attack on Mr. Smith actually illustrated what the investigations found. A pathetic, shell of a man. He will prove incapable of shutting up tonight.

I like and respect each and every Democrat on the committee. Rep. Crockett and Rep. Raskin rank among my favorites in my lifetime. I heard on MS NOW that there had been an organized plan for the hearing, but that there may have been some disagreements. I don't know if that is true, but I can see how it might be. I thought there were too long of responses to republican attacks.

Republicans ranted, and did not allow Mr. Smith to answer fully. Thus, the number one goal should have been to allow Mr. Smith to speak for most of each Democrat's time. The republican attacks should have been expected – I am confident the average DU community member had a pretty good idea. Thus, there are two ways to deal with this. First, a single sentence that exposes the republican's lies, or second, adding a document to the record that exposes them. I'm not second-guessing the Democrats, though, as I was very satisfied.

Mr. Smith goes to Washington

"It seems to be so very hard to maintain detachment of mind in the midst of raging fire.” – Gandhi

It is frigid in the northeast. It is so cold that when I went out to sweep snow off of my car, the two deer eating where I feed birds just across the driveway didn't run away. They watched me as they were chewing mouthfuls of food, and only took off when I drove down my driveway. Among the items I bought at the store was a massive bag of bird food. I poured more out before going in, and the two deer were back within four minutes.

In the early evening, I put more out. I looked out a window and saw seven deer trotting down, straight to the food, from quite a distance. I'm not sure if the saw me, or smelled the food. Because it is so cold tonight, I just got in from making sure some bird food remains. In about two hours, there will be the same seven deer feeding there. Without moon light, it takes my eyes a while to adjust to see them in the dark. When I was young, I took seeing in the dark for granted.

Chief Waterman told me that the Haudenosaunee consider deer to be the kings of the forest. Thus, they are the only kings I serve. Deer paths are the safest and most important spot in the forest in times of danger. Think back to 1992's “Last of the Mohicans,” and they were the best place to attack an enemy, too. Attack, disappear and put a small distance between you and them, then follow the deer paths through the mountains. They became the woodland trails that eventually became turnpikes.

I drop this pathetic bag of lard and bones into a comfortable chair. The dog gets off the couch and stares at me, wanting to now be in the chair. “!975 wasn't that long ago,” I tell her. “It's a young person's plot to make my generation feel old.” This leaves her speechless, and she returns to the couch and glares at me. I need a distraction from thinking about two horrible things going on in my life at this time, so I turn on the television.

Watching Ben Mekelas on meidastouch, I recognize that the world is witnessing the felon having what is known as a “narcissistic collapse” in the field of mental health. It is an unpleasant thing to watch. There are certain steps a professional takes to evaluate the person. Thoughts of harming themselves or others, access to weapons, etc. There could be nothing more dangerous than a sociopath in the collapse process having access to ICE, the military, while fully intent upon doing harm to just about everyone.

Yesterday my cousin told me that in his two hour press confusion, the felon insulted Jack Smith. One is safe in speculating the felon is upset that Mr. Smith will be testifying in public tomorrow. I'm willing to admit that if Mr. Smith indicted me for 44 serious felonies, I would also find him intimidating. Well I remember when Mr. Smith was appointed to investigate the felon. Most people here were unfamiliar with him. I wasn't. I said this is the very best person for the job. If you have any doubts, tune in tomorrow to watch him testify.

From Julie K. Brown

I’ve spoken to many women who have been sexually abused who will only speak off the record, meaning I can’t publish their account. They still feel the need to tell their stories and sometimes one person’s account, helps confirm another person’s account.

I’ve also spoken to many women who have gone public at great cost to their well-being. The accounts I’ve written about however, are mentioned in court documents, or have been subjected to rigorous vetting by lawyers, police or the media. In some cases, the victims have photographs, diaries or even appointment books that lend credibility to their truths.

I know survivors sometimes want to take their stories public on their own, on social media, or another platform, where they perhaps feel they have control of the story, instead of placing it in the hands of someone else.

Sascha Riley, a war veteran, has gone viral with recorded interviews that he gave to a “creator” who posted his horrifying story of sex trafficking involving a number of public figures whom he is accusing (and naming) of participating in or being complicit in a wider sex trafficking network involving Jeffrey Epstein. His allegations are extremely graphic and difficult to read, and can be triggering for trauma victims.

Although he has indicated he is willing to testify under oath and take a polygraph, and he says he has some documents that back up his account, the fact remains that his story has not been verified or fact checked before it was put online by a media creator.
Despite this, the story has gone viral, with many people believing, without proof, that it is true. I suspect that something horrible happened to this survivor, if in fact he is real.

As of now, I’ve seen nothing that corroborates this story.

As journalists, we work to verify a story. This is especially important for those accounts in which victims name their abusers. This protects journalists and survivors from being sued or discredited. It takes an enormous amount of time to confirm survivors’ accounts, especially since the victims’ memories often fade, and they do not always keep hard evidence from decades ago when the abuse happened.

Sometimes the person they are accusing of the abuse claims to have evidence that contradicts victims’ accounts, and that has to be checked out as well.

It hurts all survivors when one person stretches the truth or lies. I am not saying this happened in the Sasha Riley case (I repeat: I am not saying his account is untrue) but I am suggesting that the way it has been rolled out — without any verification — and clearly with a political spin — should be weighed when considering the veracity of the story.

For news consumers, one should ask the question “Was this story confirmed in any way?” — who is the person who is urging the victim to come forward? Does that person have experience with sexual assault victims? Does that person appear to have ulterior motives? Is that person using the victim for political purposes?

We all want to believe survivors. But promoting stories — especially those that haven’t been rigorously verified — does a disservice to all the other victims who have worked so tirelessly to be believed.

Smiling Faces

“Misinformation is false information spread inadvertently without the intent to harm. Unlike misinformation, disinformation is false information that is designed to mislead others and is deliberately spread with the intent to confuse fact and fiction. Identifying and combating the spread of mis- and disinformation is a major challenge in the increasingly complex information landscape of the 21st century. “ – Britannica

Numerous times over my twenty years on this forum, I have wrote about misinformation and disinformation. If I were to give one example, I think the Russian military intelligence during the 2026 presidential campaign is the best. My advice to voters is that if you do not know what happened then, avoid the internet ….. or, to quote Malcolm X, you will be carrying your umbrella on a sunny day, and getting soaked when it rains.

Misinformation is generally scattered, whereas a disinformation comes in an organized campaign, building momentum. Thus, misinformation tends to be on the edge of believable, while disinformation builds to the level someone would shot into a pizzeria. As the mid-terms approach, we will witness an increase in both. But that's not what I want to discuss today.

In times where angry builds to outrage, there is an increased risk of believing the improbable, when rational thought is overtaken by emotion. One can lose the ability to seriously examine the most dubious of claims. And that claim may not be an attempt at misinformation or disinformation. Let's consider some examples.

When I worked at the mental health clinic, the most intelligent supervisor I ever had used to talk to me about a group of people he saw. It was a half-dozen women who lived in a rural triangle with two sides about two miles long, the third a mile. Although they lived relatively close to each other, but were of different ages, and not acquainted with one another.

All six reported that when they were little, aliens kidnapped them late at night. I am convinced that all six could have passed polygraphs on their reports of being “examined” and “probed” by the aliens. This was their reality, and my supervisor said that while it couldn't be ruled out, there could be another explanation. All six carried the same diagnosis, one not uncommon for victims of childhood sexual abuse. He noted that a number of convicted adult sex offenders lived in that same rural triangle, including fathers.

Now, from everything I knew, the six women were good, honest people, carrying a yoke no human being should have placed upon them in childhood. But I think it is safe to say the offender or offenders were adult male(s) in that very rural area. And this is not related to my opinion on UFOs.

Next, because the human brain is a complex organ, it can respond to stimuli in a wide variety of ways. There are substances that may cause a person to have brief (or relatively brief, if one did the high-quality LSD of the 1960s – early '70s). There are otherwise seemingly stable individuals – frequently teenage males – who have a psychotic disorder surface after the use of these substances. With proper treatment, they can reduce potential episodes, and live quality lives. However, continued use of substances usually leads to on-going episodes of psychosis. Another related factor can be a change in medication. We may see this as the case of Rob Reiner's son unfolds.

There are other things that can result in psychosis. For teenage males in particular, it can be the death of a relative or friend, or the break-up of a relationship with a significant other. Another factor that I am familiar with is head injuries. My brother was a professional boxer. He was vicious in the ring, and won at least 80 of his 87 fights in the ring. Yet, being a short Irishman, with a short reach, he took a lot of damage, mainly in the fights he won. If an opponent clocked him a good one, he'd go berserk. A crowd favorite, of course, at a costly price.

After retiring, it was evident that his personality was changing. Despite his opposition to drinking before retiring, he caught the Irish Flu. Then pot. Then LSD. Then cocaine and heroin. There were times that I visited him, where he wasn't sure who I was. But he sure had a lot of stories about UFOs and aliens that my siblings and I knew were his delusional mind, as we had grown up with him.

I said that to say this: there are a couple stories about the felon making the rounds that are dubious to the point where logic should tell us aren't even on the level of the stories of the six “abducted” women. Indeed, they are obviously of the same type as my late brother's nonsense. Don't put common sense and rational thought aside, and let the outrage you experience at this point to trick you. And beware of the darkness of those pushing the stories, for they seek to discredit the demand for the release of the Epstein Pedo Files.

Two Things

Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on this day in 1929. Recently I posted an essay advocating that good people put Dr. King's methods of protest into actions opposing ICE et al. I am convinced that this is a superior option when compared to agreeing to Stephen Miller's hope that we fight on the plain of Shinar. That, of course, would result in our country experiencing a version of “the Troubles.”

Two current DU members disagreed, suggesting that there may be a need for violence on that low plain. I understand that we are outraged, and that decent people can have such a reaction. I get that. But a couple of things come to mind. First is that such talk is easy, but that most of those advocating such a thing would shit their knickers if confronted by that reality, limiting their contributions to the shit hitting the fan.

Second is that over the decades that I have been politically active, those who advocate violent actions are rarely sincere members. Most are there with an agenda distinct from the group's goals. I've encountered , and exposed, a number of such individuals while active in both Native American and environmental advocacy. That was before the internet era, when connections to retired detectives were helpful in background checks. I enjoyed being able to either pull them aside, or exposing them in front of a group meeting.

The truth is that it is only by our using King's methods that the walls of the felon's tower will come crumbling down.

Part Two:
I think it is important to laugh at the administration at least once a day. Despite my adult children telling me that I have never made a funny joke purposely, in the evening I try to approach humor. I find it useful in responding to misinformation, disinformation, and/or attempts at perception management, such as the week-later claim the murderous thug suffered from internal bleeding. Thus, below is a short H2O News clip I shared on several internet sites. While the majority of people got it, there were a couple who asked, “Is this true?”

“White House officials are refusing to respond to reports that Stephen Miller was hospitalized last night after he was found screaming on the White House lawn. Unnamed sources tell H2O News that Miller was insisting that the planet earth must be re-named after the president. More, Miller reportedly screamed that the “purely natural orange glow of the president's face” is proof that he is the Sun King, and that all enemies must bow to the Sun King or be shot dead in their homes. The White House refused to answer questions about who is now in charge of the administration during Miller's hospitalization.”

Peace

“ In those days, I identified with the ideas of Malcolm X, his philosophy of 'by any means necessary,' rather than what I misinterpreted as the passivity of Dr. Martin Luther King.” – Rubin “Hurricane” Carter

I will start by suggesting that we not engage in this conflict on the playing field of our opposition's turf. I will advocate that we raise it to a higher level of militant non-violence than they are able to understand. And it requires that it be organized at the grass roots level, in coordination with our elected representatives who demonstrate with us.

I note the obvious: Stephen Miller is looking to spark violence that will lead to a specific population that Miller and the felon plan to target with a vicious ICE/Border Patrol attack. They are willing, even eager, for some spark to ignite violence …... even having a damaged man in a uniform shell murder a woman in cold blood. Under the cover of the current protests across the country, we can count on the opposition to send agent provocateurs to create chaos. For they are mechanical, in both thinking and behavior, over and over in our nation's history.

Just as the para-military police fronting for the felon operate on the lowest level, we have several higher levels that are available to us. They require a level of self-discipline that is demanded today, if we are to win. Though my children are convinced otherwise, I was young once, and I understand that in general, young adults process anger and outrage differently than those my age. For whatever reason, I was never afraid in tense situations (hence I still have a part of a board a gentleman broke over my head in a march decades ago). But as Dr. King taught, one cannot drive out darkness with darkness.

I am not opposed to, say, the Berrigan brothers & plowshares activities. I also respect the “Citizens Commission to Investigate the FBI” that picked the date of The Fight of the Century's Ali versus Frazier to break into the FBI to borrow documents proving the agencies' illegal tactics while investigating the left. Despite the FBI's efforts, their identities remained unknown for 43 years, until they went public. Though I could tell some stories about those days, it is not what I am advocating now. So be careful.

King's activities required non-violence, even if attacked. That's hard. When Dr. King asked Rubin to join him in Selma, Rubin declined because he could not meet Martin's standards. Dr. King's followers were either silent in payer or meditation, or sang. The brutes they confronted did not know any way to react other than violence. But films of that violence changed the minds of the undecided. While all forms of exercising Amendment 1 rights are good, King's way was the most just and powerful.
That is the higher ground we need to rise to today. We need to rise above rage and hatred, because they are the stumbling blocks on the path that prevent us from moving ahead towards social justice. It is not easy. We must recognize that anyone who told us that we cannot do that, that we are chained to destructive emotions, lied to us. And sometimes that includes our lying to ourselves, convincing ourselves we are somehow incapable of answering Dr. King's most urgent call. The truth is that if we fail to put forth our best efforts, coming from our internal higher level, that the future will definitely be much harsher and more painful.

Thank you to anyone who has read this far.

The Reoccurring Dream

"We have moved from the era of civil rights to the era of human rights,… an era where we are called upon to raise certain basic questions about the whole society… We have been in a reform movement… (But) after Selma and the voting rights bill, we moved into a new era, which must be the era of revolution… We must recognize that we can’t solve our problem now until there is a radical redistribution of economic and political power… This means a revolution of values and other things…We must see now that the evils of racism, economic exploitation and militarism are all tied together. And you really can’t get rid of one without getting rid of the others…The whole structure of American life must be changed… America is a hypocritical nation and (we) must put (our) own house in order.”
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Speech at Staff Retreat, 1967 (plans for Poor Peoples Campaign)

As we approach Martin Luther King Day, we need to remind America that Rev. King was not a plaster paris statue, as his sister noted. He belongs smack dab among humanity, in an honored level for his courage and leadership. And at the same time, we need to respect the thousands and thousands of citizens who answered his call back then, and those he has inspired by example in the decades after his death.

One can correctly refer to his as Dr. King or Rev. King. He was a human being, just the same as you or I, though he had an amazing intellect. This intelligence resulted in his having times when he was discouraged, and in one of his powerful speeches, he spoke of depression late one night after answering a phone call in which his life was threatened. I think about how both Malcolm and Martin knew, yet carried on because of their love of people.

Dr. King's desire to organize a Poor Peoples Campaign, which would shut down Washington, had begun to take shape since the fall of 1966, during a one-day rally in DC. It was becoming clear that the Vietnam war was taking the funding LBJ's Great Society required. In the summer of 1967, Senator Robert F. Kennedy asked Marian Wright Edelman to tell Dr. King that he should bring it on, to pressure the president and Congress to take meaningful actions.

Not everyone thought it was a good idea, including among Dr. King's staff. This led to some extremely tense conversations within the group. It is important to remember the parties were different then than today, as three Democratic Senators spoke out harshly when they learned of Dr. King's plans. Indeed, Senator Robert Byrd advocated detaining Dr. King for “national security” reasons. So it was a hard time for Dr. King, in the most difficult period of his life – after he had delivered his revolutionary sermon “A Time to Break Silence (Beyond Vietnam)” a year to the day before he was murdered.

Rev. King's closest associate, Rev. Ralph Abernathy, attempted to continue on with Martin's planned campaign, but it never regained the potential that it once had. Martin Luther King was planning to unite people, including from groups that had previously viewed other groups with suspicion and mistrust. Rev. King might have been able to pull that off, and the powers-that-be recognized this. And so Martin died.

Around this same time, a young member of the Chicago Black Panthers was being recognized for his outstanding leadership ability. Fred Hampton had worked to unite those same groups that Dr. King had focused on. At one heated meeting between hostile groups who were arguing, this young man stood up and asked a question: “Did your child have breakfast before going to school today?” It changed the meeting, for Fred Hampton had identified the common ground that held the promise of higher ground. He would soon be murdered, too.

To again quote Dr. King, “we have some difficult days ahead.” I am convinced that we need to take hold of Dr. King's teaching. Non-violent protest is obviously needed. I understand the outrage. And the discouragement. Yes I do. That includes the yelling at ICE. I get that. But I know we need to shift to the more militant pacifism of Dr. King and the thousands who helped him make progress.

If the criminally insane administration is not put in check by mid-spring, then we will need to engage in a similar action to what Dr. King planned, and shut the machine down. Obviously, there are risks involved, including the concern that the felon would declare a national emergency. Yet they are already shooting. And as Neil sang, “What if you knew her, and found her dead on the ground?”

Peace,
